TVXQ’s Changmin Is Milan Menswear’s Breakout Street Style Star

Street style is all about capturing the moment—when the stars (and their outfits) align, it can create magic. Yesterday in Milan, that’s exactly what happened when TVXQ’s Changmin stepped out at Prada’s Spring 2019 menswear show. Heading into the Fondazione Prada in a Miuccia-approved outfit from the brand’s Spring 2018 collection, he looked the part of a burgeoning style star, thanks to a look that merged traditional with artistic. With his classic blue striped button-down covered in ink splotches and trippy hand-drawn shapes, he kept thing interesting by layering one of the collection’s graphic novel panel shirts. Worn with skinny trousers, an understated wrist watch, and color-blocked loafers, the combination was creative without seeming overly flashy.

Naturally, the look caught the eye of Vogue’s resident street style photographer Phil Oh. Catching Changmin at the precise moment he breezed by a group of enthusiastic fans, Oh captured the outfit and the many head-turns it earned. While it’s clear that Changmin could wear sweats and still get a reaction from the crowd, in his sleek Prada get-up, he caught the attention of a whole new audience.
